he research staff of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena has presented its contribution in the 2nd International Caparica Conference on Pollutant Toxic Ions and Molecules (PTIM 2017). The event takes place in the Costa de Caparica from November 6 to 9, 2017.

PTIM 2017 is an excellent platform for the interaction of scientific and professional researchers with the academic research community. The topics to be covered in the conference cover almost all environmental contaminants: heavy metals, organic compounds, inorganic ions, toxic molecules and emerging pollutants, with a special focus on monitoring, detection, control, management, remediation and elimination. Due to the great impact of these pollutants on the environment and health, finding a solution is an essential requirement for today’s society.

The main objective of the conference is to overcome the challenges related to environmental pollutants in an economical, practical and respectful way with the environment.
